This was the second book I bought into my foray into Warhammer 40,000 (The first being the core rulebook). I'm surprised at the quality of this book and also it's durability. Even though it is 50$ (I was able to get it for only around $40 with a great deal), this book is awesome. I love the artwork, the unit rules, and how the book is presented for the player. It is a Codex and is required to play Warhammer 40,000 IF you are looking to play Chaos Space Marines. Even though there are a couple of units that make me scratch my head (Warp Talons and Mutilators) Chaos Space Marines are really fun to play with. You can even take Chaos Daemons as allies for a fun and creative army combination.Product details

The newest edition of the Codex for CSM. In the new hardcover format GM loves to add the extra wieght to everything you have to take for your games.
Overall, some nice changes from the previous edition. Lords have become much more useful. No more Lash lists. Fun changes and some less usefull units are more useful now. A lot more customization for your armies and the ability to make legion like armies with a little creativity.
First codex of 6th edition, plus it was available when Games workshop was temporally out. The cost was abit high, but i paid for availability.

This item is also a Christmas gift, and it appears to be exactly what I thought it was. I'm sure my grown son will love it.
I don't want to go too much into the army here, there are a great number of forums that cover tactics for chaos space marines at least as well as I can. I will however let you know that this seller delivered the product very quickly and in perfect condition. That is something i'm very big on with my books, I hate bent corners and scratches in the cover. Also these new codex's are amazing, hard cover with full color pictures, just beautiful. If your interesting in making a chaos space marine army, or just a fan of the hobby, this book is worth picking up and the seller was extremely reliable.
